Tsireya MBTI & Enneagram | Avatart the Last Airbender

ENFJ 9w1 Characters

Tsireya has a warm approach to Lo’ak and his siblings, which focuses on being appropriate, affirming, and gentle with their feelings. She encourages others to create an environment for them to learn in that is pleasant and not shaming of their mistakes or inability to hold their breath for long periods of time. She is curious about where they come from and what they learned there, but also about them as individuals. Tsireya tries to mediate between the newcomers and her brothers, and is also respectful of her parents’ authority. She wishes Lo’ak would dial back his Fi sometimes and not rock the boat so much. She does not show a huge amount of Ni, except in her teaching sessions with Lo’ak and the others. In explaining to them how the ocean works, she uses highly abstract language about how they are all connected, in a great circle of life speech. Her pointers are more about connecting to their bodies and allowing their souls to find rest than practical lessons. And she shows a lot of low Se in how willing she is to merge into the environment, her great love of the ocean, and her tendency to take risks alongside the others in their attempts to save the whale, rescue their friends from the enemy craft, etc. Tsireya is rational enough to know how the island hierarchy works, but mostly uses her emotions to appeal to and reach others rather than logical arguments.

Enneagram: 9w1

Tsireya is the most open-hearted and tolerant of her people, immediately welcoming the strange Na’vi family into her midst and hushing her brothers for laughing at them (she chastises them by saying “hush, they are still learning!”). She gives them encouragement and goes along with them, but also doesn’t like any kind of conflict between anyone and winds up lovingly tone-policing (making her brothers be nice). When Lo’ak back-talks to her father, Tsireya is so upset, she cries and shakes her head at him in a silent plea for him not to upset the balance of things. Her father yelling at them all cows her and makes her sink to her knees, her head down in submission. She is quite critical of anyone who is unkind, but sees the best in everyone she meets.
