ENFJ 1w2 Characters
Mera’s values are a lot different from Arthur; she makes them based on what she sees as best for her culture and her people, and encourages him to do the same. Mera argues with and moralizes at those who put others in danger or risk Atlantis for selfish causes. She puts aside her own desires often to live out what her culture expects from her, and figures out how to help Arthur win the battle against his half-brother by telling him to take the fight to “his world.” She has a quick ability to read between the lines, such as when she figures out she needs water to activate an ancient map, or in the potential she sees for Arthur. Mera is always thinking about where she wants things to go, and trying to move them in that direction. She also shows a lot of tert-Se recklessness, such as jumping out of a plane without a parachute, improvising in a fight, and leaving a sea boat seconds before it implodes into a lake of lava. She enjoys meeting humans and taking part in land rituals, but winds up misinterpreting some of their behaviors and eating roses instead of enjoying them. She is good at improvising, and coming to Arthur’s rescue when he needs help. Mera is analytical and thinks a lot about how to solve problems, but relies more on her intuition and ability to act quickly.
Enneagram: 1w2
Mera is super-ego to the hilt; she believes in doing what is ‘right’ even when it contradicts her own feelings, because she believes it’s important to do certain things to maintain the peace. She judges the land world for dumping waste into the ocean, piling up trash, and destroying underwater life through its carelessness, and points out these things several times to Arthur. She criticizes him and gets angry when he notices she does something wrong, but also stands up to her father when she believes he has chosen to support the wrong side in the war, and urges Arthur to stop the war because she fears too many casualties. She often is firmer in her conclusions than Arthur, and shows more disgust in how she approaches situations she doesn’t like. Her 2 wing is devoted to helping Arthur achieve his full potential and in seeing herself as important, even willing to sacrifice what she wants (love) to obey what her culture demands from her (a dynastic marriage to a man she hates).
