ESFP 8w7 Characters
Crystal shows the good and the bad sides of Fi-dom; she is deeply emotional and disturbed by the unkindness she finds in the world around her. She wants to do what is right, and to intervene and help humans and ghosts. She is fierce in her sense of self, and able to draw boundaries or put her foot down against things that she hates. But her self before she met the demon was an awful person—selfish and inconsiderate, abusive to the people she met, and only concerned with self-gratification. She feels that her memories are an important part of her, and that she must regain them to feel “whole.” Crystal is proactive in her environment, and lead by her emotions into direct action. She hears about a missing kid halfway across the world, and insists on going to investigate, drawing the Dead Boys after her. She then fights a witch without being prepared, and gets sucked into many different adventures, almost throwing herself off a lighthouse in the process, because the voice “calls” to her from the depths. Crystal at first took her demon boyfriend at face value, then allowed him to take over her body, and went on a rampage of bad behavior. She ignores the boys’ advice to stay out of their business, and not take risks, to do what she wants; setting off on her own, going to confront her demon alone, and trying to take action on their behalf. Her Te claps out at people harshly; she tells them off and defies them when they try to impose limits on them, and is blunt. At one point, she shuts down the Walrus by insinuating she doesn’t care about his story (the girl next to her looks at her, and then reassures her that she would LOVE to hear his story!). Her lower Ni tells her what she is capable of, helps her capture and bury the demon in her memories, trusts her instincts about people, and gives her insights into whether people are lying.

Crystal is easily assertive right off the bat, drawing boundaries with the boys and keeping them at an emotional distance until she starts having feelings for them. She is blunt and strong-willed, angry when people try to stop her from doing things, and insistent on doing stuff for herself. She goes off to confront David the Demon on her own, then musters the inner strength to “bury” him deep inside her memories. When she eats her memories, she finds out she was an “angry, toxic person” who treated people like trash. She brutally told people off, got into literal fights over stealing people’s boyfriends, and mistreated even her friends. Even her reformed self is angry, defensive, and quick to act. Crystal wants to stop the bad stuff from happening, because it offends her on a visceral level; when she sees a ghost murdering his whole family over and over, she wants to make it stop. It’s hard for others to argue with her, or convince her to do anything she does not want to do, and she has no trouble confronting even witches full of dark power. They don’t scare her. She is also kind of blunt, telling the Walrus she has no interest in his life story. Her 7 wing is assertive, tries to avoid and downplay her problems, and avoidant. Her old self used to distract herself with pleasure, and taking whatever she wanted.
