Provided they can pay their rent, she doesn’t care what they get up to, and has no moral judgments about it. She focuses on her one interest, which is chopping meat, as a visceral experience, but has also covered her body in tattoos as a means of self-expression. She quickly picks up on things and reacts against them; confiding in, kissing, and being romantic with her stalker, finding out the truth, and then running away from and protecting herself from her, after telling her to “get out” doesn’t work. Jenny offers to fight a demon for Crystal (she assumes it’s just a toxic ex). The one time she sticks out her neck and goes on a date, the woman turns out to be a psycho, and then Jenny is furious with herself for having let down her guard. She easily draws boundaries with her boarders, telling them to stop being creepy, stop making so much noise, stop banging on pipes, and to get out of her meat shop. When Crystal goes off to confront her ex, Jenny says she’s not going alone, picks up her meat clever, and tags along. She isn’t about to let anyone bully anyone she knows. But she also has a side of her that is passive and willing to go along with things to keep the peace. Jenny says Crystal is weird, but whatever; just do what you want to do, quietly. She doesn’t move toward other people easily, choosing instead to focus on her own interests.
