Sid is a live and let live kind of guy, who often leaps on opportunities with little forethought, whether that includes getting a pretty girl in bed (and not checking to find out if she’s married and has an angry husband) or leaping on the chance to be an extra in a local movie production. He enjoys teaching Father Brown self defense (leaping out at him out of nowhere, dressed as a madman) and is hard-working and ambitious, but also suffers from a lack of foresight, and little ability to theorize on the consequences of his actions (inferior Ni). As Father Brown says, Sid does not get emotionally involved, even in his romantic affairs. He doesn’t mind cutting corners if it gets him where he wants to be; Sid doesn’t see the point of getting offended over criticisms. He uses his financial stability mainly to pursue his freedom to do whatever he likes. Sid has commitment phobias and moves on from woman to woman (enjoying his one-night stands) and always heads to the bar under stress for “relief.” But, he’s likable and considerate of others, in his own way. Always adventurous, hedonistic. Doesn’t like to be thought badly of, but also helpful. Under stress, he becomes more concerned with doing the right thing.
