Helena MBTI & Enneagram | Indiana Jones

ESTP 7w8 Characters

Helena suffers from living in the moment and not thinking ahead, which helps her get out of sticky situations by acting with immediacy, but also gets her into them in the first place. (She dates, gets engaged to, and then rips off a mob boss, who then wants to kill her and winds up chasing her all over town and shooting at her. Rather than give up on the Dial, she pursues the car it’s in, smashes the back window with a tire iron, then climbs onto it, and tries to pull it off the man’s neck. Elsewhere, she tries to sell it off to the highest bidder, manipulates Indy into giving it to her in the first place, fights off sea eels, and punches Indy in the face to prevent him from staying “back in time” and “changing history.”) Helena is very logical, detached, and understands complex systems and theories, but also sees morality as something she can bend to her advantage; she doesn’t mind being a thief and a liar, over-selling herself, or using fake emotions to get Indy to feel sorry for her, and lead her to his piece of the Dial with a far-fetched story. She has no real regard for the man whose heart she broke, but she does have a low Fe sense of what is best for humanity (that Indy not stay back in an earlier century and potentially change the future for the worst). She can be charming, people-savvy, and likable when she wants to be, but rarely concerns herself with the consequences of her actions, by assuming she can just talk her way out of them.

Enneagram: 7w8

Helena is out to get the best of what the world has to offer, and assumes she can talk her way out of trouble (or punch it in the face and demand it give her what she wants). She is highly intelligent, assertive, self-confident, sometimes arrogant, and overall likable even when she becomes a brat who is only looking out for her own best interests. She thinks about things and instantly leaps into action, and refuses to be bullied, taken advantage of, deterred, or talked out of anything; she won’t be left behind, minimized, or invited to shut up.
