ISFP 7w6 Characters
Isabelle has a need to be true to herself, even when it doesn’t align with other people’s values; she points out to her father that it’s unreasonable to expect her to marry a man twice her age whom she does not love, while in that man’s presence (but she also does not want to offend him or hurt his feelings). She disobeys him numerous times by sneaking outside of the castle, and falls in love with Jack because of his dashing heroics and charm. Rather than wait to be rescued, Isabelle goes out on her own grand adventures, breaking out of the castle, sneaking off in the middle of the night, pinching horses from the stable, finding her way into giants’ hands, and then helping Jack save her kingdom. She wants to be out there, living life, meeting people, getting her hands dirty, not sitting in the castle doing needlepoint or reading books. Isabelle has a strong sense of how her future should look and the will to change it, but most of her decisions are emotional and subjective, rather than purely rational, though she is good at finding places to hide, escape routes, and shortcuts.

Isabelle has an adventurous spirit, rather like Jack. She has no fear of going out into the world, and when her father disapproves, tries to argue to convince him that she really ought to be out there, meeting people, and experiencing life outside of the castle. When Jack first meets her, she has sneaked off to see a theatrical performance, then gets cornered by some thugs, before being rescued by her guards. She says she didn’t need them, she can look after herself. Later, she steals a horse from the royal stables and sets off on an adventure, then winds up in giant land, where she explores and manages to get herself captured. Isabelle is a cheerful girl who looks on the bright side, but does show 6ish wing tendencies from time to time; she wants to convince her father to let her have her way, rather than just assert herself and take it without him approving of her decisions; she relies on Jack and her guards to save her life, and is appropriately afraid of various dangerous situations. But always, she comes back to her own resourceful nature and trusts herself to make it through somehow.
