Vicky Amonte MBTI & Enneagram | Passionada

MBTI Type: ESTP

ESTPs look for advantages to exploit current situations, and that’s what Vicky does when she figures out Charlie is counting cards and sees the money he rakes in from a successful night at the Blackjack table. She approaches him and asks him to teach her how to count cards, offering herself as his partner. Vicky doesn’t really have a specific idea for her future, or think about tomorrow, so much as she “knows” that she will not marry some guy who stinks of fish (and then what does she do? She winds up dating him, once again showing that an ESTP’s priorities are here and now!). When he turns up at her house looking for her mother, she immediately sees this as an opportunity to get to him—and says she can get him a date with her mom and tell him whatever he needs to know, if he will just teach her how to be as good at what he does as he is. Vicky knows this isn’t moral or legal, but she doesn’t care, because “my mom deserves a better life than this one.” She sees gambling as her way of helping her mom and getting out of this town, because she hates being part of “the fish business.” She thinks her mom needs to date, so she goes on Match.com for her, pretends to be her over the phone, and arranges a blind date for her mother, then convinces her to go. But she’s not always attentive to others feelings—she spends all night winning money in the casino and when her mother is upset, instead of trying to console her, Vicky angrily reassures her she isn’t a tramp, hasn’t lost her virginity, and—then storms out of the house to cry on the front porch.

Enneagram: 7w8

7w8s come across as fearless to other types, because they are double assertive and go hard after what they want. That is without a doubt, Vicky in a nutshell. She sees a person who could teach her what she wants to know and tries all the ways she can think of to convince him to do it. Vicky is bold, risk-taking (gambling in the casino, lying to her mom about going on a hot date and then showing up there), and not always attuned to the problems involved in what she is doing (setting up her mom on a blind date with a guy who turns out to be too young for her). She has a hot temper, and it gets loud whenever she fights with her mother, nor is she going to be the first one to apologize. Vicky runs away from her problems—after a fight with her mom she races out to get on her motorcycle. It bothers her so much that her mom “doesn’t have a life” that she feels she has to change it and shake it up for her by finding her a guy. And she tells Charlie you never know what she’s going to say, but can know that whatever it is, she is going to say it. If other people don’t like it, tough!
