ESTP 3w2 Characters
Reggie is the ultimate opportunist who starts out working for Hiram and doing his dirty work, then he teams up with Veronica to be in the diamond business. After that, they start a casino together in which he assumes they were going to ‘pull dirty side hustles’ because that’s what he’s used to doing. He’s very physical and assertive, often easily seduced and sometimes manipulated by people, because he lives so much in the present moment. In Rivervale’s alternate reality, when he meets a second version of himself (he pointed out that in an earlier comic book, he’s not the same person/not drawn the same), he winds up fighting with his alternate self and they shoot and kill each other in a duel. Reggie knows he wants something more long-term for his life, but isn’t sure what that might be yet. He has occasional hunches and insights into people, such as when he figures out what Veronica did to her dad, even though she tried to deceive him about it. Reggie’s rational but also emotional—his deals all are financially stable and workable, but he’s also easily insulted when Veronica threatens to cut his father’s tab off (he says she hangs her murder father’s portrait over her desk, but won’t even let his dad on the premises?). He earns money often through shady business deals, including blackmailing Veronica with the information he knows about her ordering a hit on her father (he objected to this and called it immoral, but still stood by her throughout the funeral).
Enneagram: 3w2
Reggie cares a great deal about his presentation and appearances, and makes a lot of his decisions from an emotional place—he doesn’t like Veronica being the alpha in their relationship because it makes him seem emasculated. He threatens to break up with her when he points out the fact that in designing their casino, she forgot to give him an office—he isn’t on any of the plans! Reggie gravitates toward people who talk to him about his worth and see his potential, switching sides easily between Veronica and her father and then falling in with other villains as the final season unfolds. He needs to be loved, respected, and appreciated, and tries to be helpful where he can, while also being personable and flexible.
