Dominant Introverted Sensing – a strong emphasis on memories holding personal significance, meticulous, and detailed: Sabrina has a romanticized view of past events, which influences her expectations for the future; she has watched David romance girls in the same way for years and expects the same behaviors from him in their romantic entanglement. She surprises both brothers with reminiscences about the past that reveals personal significance to their former interactions (dancing with David as a child, and Linus spending the afternoon with her during a storm). She mentions falling into a familiar routine in Paris and longs for it when she returns home (“You find a favorite bridge, and then you go there each day with your coffee and your journal and write”).

Sabrina also asks many questions of Linus in an attempt to better understand him. Though she is interested in new things, Sabrina often needs others to nudge her toward them – her father sends her to Paris, and being around the models there convince her to change her hairstyle and how she dresses in time.
Inferior Extroverted Intuition – curious about the future and in different possibilities, but skeptical of “unrealistic” ideas and allows others to lead the way there: She is somewhat naive and unable to fully comprehend David’s intentions at first, and is taken in by Linus, but is still intuitive enough to sense that not everything he told her was a lie.

Enneagram 9 – desires freedom from others’ influences, by going along with them and being tolerant, until it matters not to: Sabrina is very sweet, sensitive, and accommodating. She doesn’t like conflict and feels like her father needs to approve of all her actions (she has to ask his permission to attend a party she was invited to, even though she’s an adult now). She dreams away a good deal of her life, fantasizing about David, until she gets outside of her comfort zone, goes to Paris, and is able to learn about a different culture and gain life experience, but she still spends a lot of time walking around, taking pictures, writing in a journal, and being alone. Sabrina is also easily influenced by whomever she is around; when she’s with David, she is curious about him and accommodating of his lack of morals, but around Linus, she starts to have feelings for him in return, as she gets to know him and realizes he’s not so “scary” after all.
1 wing brings in a desire for moral rightness and perfection: Sabrina is quite proper, and does not create “scenes,” even when her heart is broken; she just accepts the plane ticket to Paris and leaves, quietly stating in tears that “Paris is always a good idea” with a sad smile on her face.
