Lee Stetson MBTI & Enneagram | Scarecrow & Mrs. King

ESTP 3w2 Characters

Dominant Extroverted Sensingliving in the moment, hands-on opportunism, and learning by doing: Lee is the perfect agent for field work, and one of the best. He can figure his way out of anything. He leaps on bad guys, jumps in helicopters, crashes cars into things to cause distractions, stops bombs going off just in the nick of time, grabs Amanda off the street, shoves a package into her hands, and tells her to get on the train and give it to the man in the red hat… the list goes on and on. Lee is macho and opportunistic, with a string of ex-lovers in every port. He works hard all day, then goes to clubs and taverns at night. It drives him crazy to be stuck as an invalid in a hospital with nothing to do and no one to talk to.

Auxiliary Introverted Thinkinglooking for loopholes to exploit existing systems, and a desire for logical consistency: He’s detached and logical, a problem solver. He puzzles over what things mean and puts the pieces together. Lee figures out how to use the environment to get himself out of fixes, trying everything he can think of before giving up. He dismisses Amanda at first, thinking her too emotional and “just a housewife” to be useful, but comes to rely on her as a partner and then develops a genuine love for her. His emotions are shallow. He feels all the same feelings for an ex-lover when they meet up again, but upon learning she’s a traitor, those feelings disappear into thin air and he’s over it. He’s confused to find out how upset Amanda is after he faked his own death and put her through the loss.

Tertiary Extroverted Feelinggauging the emotional environment with a desire to influence it in their favor, and often being out of touch with their true feelings: Lee can be charming and persuasive to get what he wants, but is uncomfortable with his emotions; he’d rather make excuses and do the laundry than talk about how he feels. He tells people what they want to hear in his spy work to gain their trust, romance them into sharing their secrets, or diffuse tension. Lee sees no problem with being deceitful if it’s for a good cause, and does not understand why it troubles Amanda so much to be insincere to her family. He can separate “the work” and “my life” without realizing the two impact one another.

Inferior Introverted Intuitiona desire to experience deeper meaning and a singular path, but sometimes being wrong in their intuitive conclusions: His intuition gives him “vague hunches.” Lee lets Amanda figure out clues with her Ne often, and wants her to get to the point so he can rush into action. He has little belief in anything he can’t touch or see, such as reading auras or interpreting events. Lee has given no real thought to what he wants to do eventually, when he’s too old to do fieldwork.

Enneagram: 3w2

Enneagram 3a driven, ambitious person who wants to succeed to the best of their ability: Lee works in a job that requires him to be deceitful, and thinks nothing of it, since he adapts to whatever persona he needs to close a case. His accomplishments please him. Lee can be fussy about his presentation. He drives an expensive car and likes it when people notice. Lee has expensive tastes and sneers at the idea of a candy bar being a treat (he had something else in mind, like a bottle of champagne). He doesn’t think Amanda has the right kinds of food and drink in her house when forced to take refuge with her after an assassination attempt on his life (and he intends to bring up her palate, by introducing her to “the good stuff”). He’s offended at the idea that he “needs” her or that his boss would pair him with her until she earns his respect. Lee distances himself from his feelings for her by refusing to admit he loves her, because he can’t see himself being in love with someone as unrefined as Amanda.

2 wing brings in a helpfulness and a desire to be seen as a good person: Lee has a good heart and wants to do what’s best for everyone. He shows Amanda what needs done, even if he gets impatient with her long-winded stories. Lee also lacks the 4ish elitist “bite” their coworker Francine has as a core 3w4—she is haughty and rude to Amanda for being a “common housewife,” whereas Lee has an agreeable nature. He will show up with flowers, treats, an apology, a gift of some kind, and assume he is doing what is best and necessary for Amanda.
