ESTPs are eager to get hands on and innovative in their tech, which Oliver does both as a billionaire playboy and as his alter-ego, the Green Arrow. He runs around at night in a green jacket and hood, saving damsels in distress, breaking into high rises, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, and then comes home where he lives out a persona of being a rich playboy. But it’s not all a lie—Oliver does everything “fast.” He immediately starts up a sexual relationship with Lois and later puts the moves on Tess again after having been without her for a while. He rushes headlong into things and sometimes gets in over his head. Oliver doesn’t have good insights into people or their motives, and has no sense of what he wants for his future beyond his goal of avenging his parents. He’s more ruthless and logical than Clark, pointing out the consequences of his refusal to deal with the Luthors and wanting to do something immediately about it (Lex still knows your secret, and we should take him out now! Chloe will understand if you miss her wedding!), but is sometimes amoral in his tactics, and clueless about others’ feelings. He is good at pulling things apart, creating new toys, and mobilizing others to work together, but not so in touch with his emotions or those of his loved ones. He’s pretty good at talking Lois through her feelings when they’re no longer romantically involved, and doesn’t mind being used as a sounding board.

Oliver is certainly an assertive, independent man, who goes after what he wants, whether that’s Lois Lane or using criminal activities to stop the Luthors from taking over the world. He is hedonistic and reckless, always pursuing an exciting and exotic lifestyle—and for a long time, he refused to admit to any of his mistakes, to deal with the death of his parents, or to admit his role in creating the “evil” Lex Luthor. Oliver mercilessly bullied him at school, and continues to harass him as an adult. He adopts the persona of Green Arrow to do ‘good’ in the community, as part of his growth toward 1, but also often goes about doing that in … less than honest ways. His 8 wing makes him even more assertive, and somewhat unforgiving. He seeks vengeance sometimes more than justice and is unforgiving in how he deals with his adversaries. Oliver used to push people too hard, even as a young man, and got a reputation as a bully at school, where he encouraged other kids in similar behaviors. Clark often argues him out of intense reactions and/or tries to prevent him from going overboard in his methods (Oliver and his friends engage in domestic terrorism as a tactic against the Luthors).
