Dominant Extroverted Thinking – ease of organizing and remembering facts, drawing logical conclusions, and being efficient: Peter brags to Scott about his accomplishments and wealth and his ability to have two Shelby Cobras, when there are only a hundred in the entire world. It means he’s good at getting what he wants, and is ruthless in the process. He always approaches situations by thinking about how he can turn them to his advantage and profit off them, from taking power from the Alpha pack and turning against Scott, to attaching his soul to Lydia after activating her Banshee powers so that he can be later resurrected. He is always working situations to his advantage, including the kill list in season four, and then wanting to turn Scott into a Berserker so he could steal his power.
Auxiliary Introverted Intuition – strong and accurate specific insights, plans, or predictions, and a singular state of mind: He looks down on Derek for being too impulsive, because he sees the bigger picture. Peter seems to know things and set things in motion, before anyone else has an inkling about what’s going on, from activating the Banshee by biting her, to scheming against the Alphas, to planning his long-term revenge against the people who murdered his family and left him to die in an inferno. He likes to acquire things with an eye to using them later, such as when he barters with Derek to help him, in exchange for their mother’s claws (which he can use for purposes of his own, including reading other Alphas’ minds). Peter spends a lot of time thinking, scheming, and planning, trying to manipulate situations to his tactical advantage.
Tertiary Extroverted Sensing – trying to act on what exists by living in the moment and hands-on-learning: Peter is nothing if not opportunistic; he will wait in the wings and allow others to weaken alphas so he can come in, rip out their throat, maul them, and take their power into his own body. When Scott wants to show mercy to someone, Peter leaps in to finish them off, and tries to dominate and kill Scott with sheer brutality. He is very physically aggressive in dominating people, beating them up, or throwing them around. He will hesitate to think before he acts, but then rush into action if he sees an opening because someone is weak or unwilling to act.
Inferior Introverted Feeling – emotional under stress, and unsure of how to better connect to others: Peter is selfish and unconcerned with anyone else, until he realizes he has a daughter and is able to connect with her. Being around Malia and recognizing some of his traits in her lets him change his mind about how he feels about Scott and the Wolf Pack, and to work with them in the end.

Enneagram 8 – defiant and strong-willed, with a need to control their environment and assert themselves to get what they want: When another character asks him what his motivations are, Peter says “power.” He wants it, and will use any methods to get it, including killing off members of his own pack, trying to take out Scott, and ruthlessly doing whatever others are “incapable” of doing, to “get the job done.” He is highly aggressive and full of rage, unapologetic about his intentions, and considers others weak and ineffectual by comparison.
7 wing brings in a heady secondary influence, where positive re-framing and optimism takes flight: But he is also always thinking in a way Derek is not; an enormous part of his time and attention goes to scheming, seeing opportunities and acting on them, and manipulating people into where he wants them to be, so he can take full advantage of the situation. Peter sometimes reframes his own evil actions to cast them in a better light, like telling Lydia she should be grateful to him for activating her powers when he mauled her.
