Bee is very, very good at emotional manipulation; everyone thinks she is a fantastic person, the best babysitter ever. Cole is madly in love with her, and takes everything she says as gospel, because she gives him such good life advice. We find out later that Bee became a demon and a recruiter to save the life of a child she cared for, after a horrible accident. She plays all of Cole’s games with him, makes him feel good about himself, talks about his feelings with him, and is gentle with him. She also, against her better judgment, has grown attached to him, so she doesn’t want to kill him initially. Bee could just kill her blood sacrifice victim immediately, but treats him to a “fun” night with her friends in which she amuses him, engages him, and makes out with him, before she kills him. When she thinks he’s about to burn her sacred book, Bee tries to convince him they can both lie to the police, say Satanists attacked them, and get away with it, then “be together forever” … implying she will give him immortality. She has hunches about things, and notices things others do not; Cole does not flinch when she sticks a needle into his arm to draw his blood, but she still feels “something” is wrong and waits behind the door to see if he’s awake. In the second film, in particular, we find out at the end (spoiler) that she has manipulated the entire series of events, to ensure that Cole loses his virginity and is no longer “innocent” so it damns all of her friends to hell, and her too, just because she wants him to live. She planted an object in Phoebe’s locker that made her want to go to her cabin, knowing Cole would be in the same area, then arranged for him to escape and spend time with her. Bee can be very physical, aggressive, and likes to mess around—kissing and seducing guys before she kills them, taking their blood personally.

Bee’s human side might have been a 2, but her demon side has moved to 8. She’s all about power and control, but under a likable guise in order to make people like her. She tells Cole she was once scared and alone, but now is powerful and tough and wouldn’t have it any other way. He shouldn’t let people beat him up, either! She intimidates another kid when he messes with Cole and warns him to stay away from Cole or she’ll make him pay. Bee is ruthless in how she deals with others, even damning her friends to hell in the second film because Cole “taught her how to love/feel.” He made her better, so she does the hard thing and dies to free him from his curse. She isn’t even mad at Cole for beating her at the end of the night, because she can respect that he has finally come into his own. Bee has a very fun and playful personality, and sees herself in a positive light; she is forever teasing and experimenting with Cole, making him feel good about himself (and knowing that he’s fond of her, feeling fond of him in return). She sets up fun scenarios for them to do together, loves to play word games with him, and makes up fantasy sci-fi “dream teams” to impress him with. Even when she selects a victim for their blood ritual, she makes sure he has a good time first by engaging him in a game of spin the bottle, making out with another girl, teasing all the boys, and giving him a long, lusty kiss… right before she sticks a knife in his head.
