Where Nick flies by the seat of his pants and makes stuff up as he goes along, Jenny prefers to be a lot more careful, precise, and exact in how she collects information. She has a wealth of knowledge about her favorite topic (archeology) and has worked, studied, and put in the hours to be a respected expert on the topic. Everything they find, she knows what it means or represented in Egypt, and she rolls her eyes at their lack of logical knowledge—like not wondering what an Egyptian mummy is doing in Iraq. She prefers to deal in facts and be decisive in her decisions; she argues with them about pulling out of the area too soon, and not giving her enough time to fully excavate and get professionals in to look at their discoveries. She wants to catalogue and tag everything and has some respect for those who have worked their way into top positions. Jenny shows her emotions more than she would like to admit, in how offended she got that Nick stole from her. She did not mind him sneaking out first thing in the morning, but she’s royally mad that he took something that belongs to her, showing her subjective morals (this bothers me, but that doesn’t). Jenny is skeptical of anything mystical or magical until she sees it with her own eyes, and then sets out to stop it rather than wonder where it came from or why any of this is happening.
Enneagram: 1w2
Jenny has very strict moral standards and she judges Nick’s behavior according to them—she frowns on and stops him from trying to steal artifacts out of a tomb they found, she accuses him of being rude and inappropriate when he walked out on her after a one night stand—plus, he stole from her, and she draws attention to that as well. Jenny tells him off in front of other people and leaves the impression that he is a bad lover who can’t make it pleasurable for a woman or be emotionally connected for more than a couple of minutes. She doesn’t let anyone tell her what to do, and when she decides Jekyll is wrong, she goes against him to pursue a different path for her life. Jenny has good self-esteem and total confidence in her decisions, but is often angry, irritated, or frustrated when others fail to live up to her standards.
