Monique believes in doing what logically gets her what she wants, and assumes she is the smartest person present, has the most experience with the ancestors, and can carry out their will. She does not factor emotions into any of her decisions, which alienates her from Davina, who makes all of her decisions with her heart. She can be blunt, telling people they need to die to carry out a spell or fulfill the desires of their ancestors, to whom she is bound. She both cares about the traditional ways (in doing their will) and doesn’t care, in the sense that she feels confident the future will be better with the younger generation in charge. She believes in what is proven to her, namely the many witches and their collective magic through the cemetery, their rituals, their ancient spells, and the rites that they go through to create new powers. She plans to kill Genevieve after sacrificing Hope, so they can get back the final Harvest girl and have ultimate power. Monique does not show much low Ne, or much Fi – other than that she believes she is right, and is relatively disinterested in what anyone else has to say about her.

Monique had a different personality prior to being sacrificed, but came back determined to have her way no matter what it took. She is ruthless and self-confident, assuming she ought to be in authority over the other Harvest Girls and appointing herself as their leader from the start. Instead of being cowed by Klaus and Elijah, she lashes out at both of them; she slits Hayley’s throat after the baby is born, and does not hesitate to kill her aunt when she tries to stand in their way of the Sacrifice. She tells Genevieve that she is rebelling against the ancestors by refusing to die, and that it’s now time for the younger generation to rise. Monique is remorseless in whatever actions she carries out, and unapologetic in her treatment of anyone she does not like. Her lack of fear winds up being her downfall when Marcel takes her out.
