Lucy is a gold mine of detailed information about history. She knows about almost every time period, the famous and infamous people in it, and can remember all of it, which makes her a godsend on a time-travel mission if she has to come up with a convincing story or figure out why Rittenhouse is targeting this person and how it might affect the timeline. She also does not like things to change dramatically, and tries hard to preserve the original timeline; initially, she worries about how their actions might have unforeseen consequences (inferior Ne), but then gets more comfortable with messing with historical timelines, changing them, and taking risks even if it means coming home to an unfamiliar world. She spends much of the series wishing she could get her former life back and bring her sister back to life, but ultimately decides based on her own experience that it’s not worth the risk, or the person she might become in the process. She saw Flynn become a “monster” (in his own words) and doesn’t want that for herself. Lucy is very good at befriending others and getting them to trust her, as well as articulating her own feelings and talking through them. She also makes some of her decisions based on how others are affected by it, rather than getting caught up in her own feelings, and can be objective enough to let history happen rather than trying to stop it. She analyzes situations and sees how history fits together in pieces, and does not want to be the person who pulls it all apart. But she is also willing to reconsider her perspective on people, showing a lower Ne flexibility—she starts out hating Flynn and resenting him, then develops some romantic feelings for him, and finally sees him as a good enough man she names her son after him.

Lucy tries to live up to her own high personal standards, and to do what is right even when she doesn’t feel like it—such as backing off from a relationship with Wyatt when he discovers his wife is still alive, even though she has found happiness with him. She admires him for trying to work at his marriage and fix things—which isn’t what she wants to do, but she feels compelled to do it out of her super-ego. She often reacts with indignation when others mess with history, or even rage when confronted with cruel things. For a long time, she tries to be ‘proper’ and not affect history or change anything, but at some point she gets sick of watching good people die and saves as many of them as she can (resulting in nobody being hung as a witch at the Salem Witch Trials). She cannot be argued out of her positions, since she holds firm to her own values and beliefs. Her 2 wing shows in how warm, supportive, and diligent she is in looking after the people she cares about, in offering advice and friendship to most everyone she meets, and in how much time and effort goes into helping total strangers.
