Claudia is an inventor, a woman of many ideas, able to hack into any computer system in the world (even Artie’s!). She looks to the world around her and improves on it, fixing anything that breaks in the Warehouse and figuring out how to make the system run more efficiently. Her curiosity toward any and everything often means taking action without thinking through the consequences, leading to various near-death experiences. Her quick mind helps get them out of many a bind. Her ability to figure out why something isn’t working allows her to fix it. Claudia doesn’t mince words; she says what she means and stands by it. She can tell others how to do something but prefers to do it herself. She loves new information and ideas; working in an environment with so many new things to think about stimulates her, and makes her come up with endless possibilities (zombies? vampires!). She’s blunt and good-natured, but also practical. She gets along great with her coworkers and goes out of her way to avoid conflict. Claudia needs a certain amount of external affirmation from Artie; she’s very hurt when she thinks he doesn’t trust her to do a good job on a mission. She hides things from him that she thinks he won’t like. Claudia feels guilt over past instances when she has hurt other people. She focuses on the welfare of one and all in the warehouse. The past can sometimes bring up painful memories, but Claudia also can pull previous things she’s read or seen into everyday conversations. She collects information and stores it away for future use. Claudia is a whip-smart smartass, who is easily bored and likes to entertain herself with innovations and fantastical ideas. She is assertive enough to confidently hack into Artie’s system and attempt to get him to return her brother, by kidnapping him, then aggressively pushes her brother to get a job in the “real world” and not just lay around the house. She is a witty smart-ass who doesn’t like to dwell in pain, and admits that she’s always running away from things in pursuit of something that feels more satisfying. Claudia can also be responsible and reliable, showing up to work and pulling in the long hours (though she looks for ways to make it more fun). She feels strongly connected to her friends, and tries to protect them where she can, but also feels as if the others don’t trust her enough and/or hold her back when she could be more useful in the field.
