MBTI Type: ESTJ

Dominant Extroverted Thinking – ease of organizing and remembering facts, drawing logical conclusions, and being efficient: Myka is working her way through the ranks when she’s recruited to Warehouse 13, and she assumes she ought to be in charge of operations because she’s so much better at organizing them and carrying out plans than anyone else, especially Pete. She is a woman of charts, logical plans, wanting to create structure inside of which to work, and devotion to accomplishing tasks. Myka is all about organization and efficiency; she prefers clear instructions and to be in control of her environment. She is logical and quick to dismiss anything that isn’t possible within the realms of science (she thinks most of Pete’s fantastical theories are absurd). Myka is the “clear head of reason” in emotional situations.
Auxiliary Introverted Sensing – working with what exists and their personal history to make an immediate impact: She has an incredible memory – she can remember facts and details from every book she’s ever read, right down to quoting famous last lines from dying politicians and thespians. She’s attentive to her surroundings and pays attention to small detail. Myka is grounded and likes to stick to the facts; she is also haunted by her past experiences and the death of her partner. Her fear that it will happen to Pete sometimes kicks in and changes her behavior until she realizes there’s nothing to fear and this allows her to move past it.
Tertiary Extroverted Intuition – an interest in many different possibilities and in seeing connections between unrelated ideas: Once something seems reasonable, Myka can accept it as a possibility. She learns to open her mind to new ideas. She can sometimes sense when others aren’t telling the truth or are hiding something from her, and is curious and eager to learn all about Warehouse 13. It excites her to encounter new situations and possibilities, to find artifacts and figure out clever ways to neutralizing them.
Inferior Introverted Feeling – emotional under stress, and unsure of how to better connect to others: Her inferior Fi can cause her to become emotional and crumble at the wrong moments. She personally attaches to causes she feels strongly about and carries around the weight of responsibility in her partner’s death until she learns the truth. Myka doesn’t enjoy conflict but isn’t afraid to engage in it, and won’t apologize for things she doesn’t feel bad about. She has strong convictions and stands by them.

Enneagram 3 – a driven, ambitious person who wants to succeed to the best of their ability: Myka initially doesn’t want to work at the Warehouse because she is on her way to the top, respected by all her peers, guarding the president, and thinks she is “too good” to be stuck in some backwater job. But then she gets her heart involved, finds a passion for what she is doing, and it fulfills her. She is hard-working, ambitious, and assertive, wanting to be in charge of operations, and to problem-solve with detachment. She doesn’t mind cutting corners at times to get something done, or breaking the rules, even if she’s aware of them.
2 wing brings in a helpfulness and a desire to be seen as a good person: Myka has a sense of pride in what she is doing and in her work, she can be warm-hearted and easily connect to others, and she has a deeply emotional side that comes out when cases become personal. She truly wants to do something “good” for society.
