ENFP 7w6 Characters
Dominant Extroverted Intuition – chasing after idealistic possibilities, conjuring up theories, and in seeing connections between unrelated ideas: Pete believes in endless possibilities. He’s thrilled to encounter new artifacts and finds just about everything he encounters to be “cool” (even if it’s dangerous). His imagination frequently runs away from him, but he’s also able to figure things out and come up with plausible theories. Most importantly, Pete gets “vibes” that tell him whether a situation is questionable or a person is untrustworthy. He’s easily distracted – particularly by food or pretty girls. Instead of thinking inside the box and relying on established facts, Pete goes with ideas. He thinks anything is possible, with or without evidence, and that no idea should be excluded from consideration (do zombies exist, and if so, how do we deal with them?). He and Claudia sometimes get excited about the same zany possibility.
Auxiliary Introverted Feeling – self-knowledge and a desire to live in accordance with one’s personal values: He allows his intuition and his attentiveness to external emotions to give him “impressions” of people, and holds a grudge against those who hurt others for their own gain (hence his dislike for H.G. Wells). Pete needs a certain amount of approval and encouragement from his coworkers; their rejection of the job and the cause he fights toward feels like a personal rejection. He sometimes acts based on his own feelings without thinking about how others will react to it, such as showing up at his partner’s home uninvited and making friends with her mother, after she told him not to.
Tertiary Extroverted Thinking – a desire to assess the facts of a situation and get things done efficiently: But he also relies on logic to make his decisions; if something “hard” must be done that will solve a problem, Pete is the one to bring it up and offer to do it. Pete can crack down and be “hard” when he wants to be, or when a case demands it from him, but he always errs on the side of putting humanity before detached problem solving (low Te). Previous encounters with people reinforce his current views of them (H.G. wasn’t trustworthy before; I don’t trust her now).
Inferior Introverted Sensing – skewed sentimentality toward particular items or beliefs, a loss of details: Under stress, Pete is resistant toward change (he doesn’t want a new partner!). He pulls on his vast warehouse (ha, ha) of stored experiences and information to deal with stuff in the present – movies he’s watched, books he’s read, things he’s seen.

Enneagram 7 – a playful and quick-witted optimist who stays in constant motion and is always looking to the future: Pete hasn’t had a steady relationship for most of his life before joining the team; he dates girls, sleeps with them, and moves on without wanting to commit. He is cheerful, good-natured, and charming, assuming he can use his sense of humor and optimism to make people like him and go along with his ideas. He often believes in fantastical things and is excited to go on adventures, discover new artifacts, etc., rather than worried about how things might go. Myka has constant conflict with him, because she sees him as irresponsible, goofy, and as slacking off on the job.
6 wing brings in a desire for a solid support system and occasional self-doubts: Pete does have a 6 wing, though; he cares about his team, gets worried when he doesn’t hear from people, tries to do what’s best for everyone involved, and frets about the consequences of their actions and/or blames himself sometimes when he makes mistakes. But he usually bounces back into his cheerful, positive self-regard quickly.
