Dominant Extroverted Sensing – living in the moment, hands-on opportunism, and learning by doing: Fiyero is acrobatic, based in the present, and always doing something. He gets everyone to go to an underground illegal club with him for fun, he saves the lion cub, he turns the library into a dancing and singing extravaganza because that’s less boring than reading books. He loves to do physical things more than to spend much down time thinking or contemplating, and is fast to react to situations and to turn them to his advantage. (He is a side character at this point, so his profile will be fleshed out more after Part Two.)
Auxiliary Introverted Thinking – looking for loopholes to exploit existing systems, and a desire for logical consistency: He doesn’t think the rules apply to him and looks for ways to manipulate situations to his advantage through dialogue, twisting things around, etc. Fiyero uses his logic to get in and out of trouble, but he doesn’t start seriously using it until he meets Elphaba, and her passion for the animals causes him to “start thinking,” which Galinda finds really alarming, since it makes him a lot less shallow than he used to be.
Tertiary Extroverted Feeling – gauging the emotional environment with a desire to influence it in their favor, and often being out of touch with their true feelings: Mostly, Fiyero relies on charm and his ability to seduce people, exchange banter with girls, and get everyone to like him with a big smile and an admission of how “perfect” he is (“I’m perfect, and you’re perfect, so we’ll be perfect together!”). He initially doesn’t value anything truly worthwhile, like honor, which makes him drawn to Galinda for purely superficial Se/Fe reasons (she’s gorgeous, and I’m gorgeous, so we’ll be gorgeous together and impress everyone!). But he does have a Fe sense of feeling morally outraged by injustice toward animals, which has nothing to do with him other than it is happening right in front of him.
Inferior Introverted Intuition – a desire to experience deeper meaning and a singular path, but sometimes being wrong in their intuitive conclusions: Does Fiyero have a long term plan for his life? Nope. Does he care or feel like that is missing? Nope. Does he read books? Nope. Is he an intellectual in any way, shape, or form? Nope. He… well. You get it.

Enneagram 7 – a playful and quick-witted optimist who stays in constant motion and is always looking to the future: Fiyero has been kicked out of too many schools to count, and expects that Shiz will be no different, but he doesn’t really care, because his entire goal is to live a “thoughtless” life (“Nothing matters, and knowing nothing matters…”). He argues that life is much easier when you don’t think about anything deeply, and you just do it. He doesn’t care about classes so much as he wants to know where the fun places are to hang out, and then recruits his entire class to go to the Ozzdust Ballroom, an illegal underground club. Fiyero is flippant about everyone and everything, preferring to be shallow and to walk on books or kick them around the library while singing about having fun, rather than to read any of them. This makes him attractive to Galinda, but Elphaba thinks he’s a jerk until she gets to know him better and the two of them have chemistry.
8 wing brings in gut-energy to assert themselves to get what they want, and a fearless ability to defy others: The only student other than Elphaba to protest a caged lion cub, Fiyero doesn’t “think” – he just “acts.” He rushes up to the front of the class, breaks the cub out of its cage, and runs off with it into the woods. He enjoys defying authorities and challenging them to punish him, stringing people along, and finding others who want just as much of a hedonistic lifestyle as him. Fiyero loves to break the rules and challenge the matron to “kick him out,” and sees his many expulsions from various schools as a badge of honor.
